ABOUT JEMMA
After growing up in sunny Pembrokeshire, Jemma left the tranquil Welsh countryside and moved to London to study Jewellery Design at Central St Martins College of Art and Design — one of the world's most prestigious art schools. On graduating with a BA Hons, Jemma was fortunate enough to be offered a position within the production department of iconic luxury jewellery brand Solange Azagury-Partridge, working from her boutique on London's Bond Street and in the heart of Hatton Garden, London's legendary jewellery district. Jemma worked with Solange for four years, learning her craft at the very highest level of fine jewellery making.
Jemma then went on to earn an MA from the Royal College of Art — one of the world's leading art and design universities — on a prestigious scholarship, before returning home to the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park to start a family and establish her own brand.
Jemma also currently works as a small metals tutor on the Artist, Designer, Maker degree course at Cardiff School of Art, bringing her wealth of experience and knowledge to the next generation of jewellery makers.
Jemma loves bespoke commissions. Whether it's a secret engagement ring, a ruby anniversary surprise, or carefully considered wedding bands, the journey to creating a unique and precious final piece should give as much enjoyment as the finished item itself.
Jemma is also very happy to work with existing jewellery pieces, incorporating the gold and gemstones from precious family heirlooms into something entirely new. Jemma understands deeply how much sentimentality can be held within a family piece, and loves nothing more than giving it a new life whilst honouring everything that makes it so special.
Jemma works closely with each client — many of whom are based throughout the UK and Europe — to develop a design that is exactly what is desired. Although Jemma works from a quirky little workshop set in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside, communication is never a problem, and a personal feel is always maintained throughout the making of each piece.
Jemma is proud to use recycled and Fairtrade metals and ethically sourced gemstones in all of her work — because beautiful jewellery should be kind to the world too.
